ABOUT THE TOUR

At the beginnig of the Sunset E-Bike Tour you will walk around the Tuscan village of Fiesole, visiting the hill of San Francesco, with a superb view point to Florence and the XV century Monastery of St.Francis still inhabited by monks.

Than we will move up, deep in the Tuscan countryside (500m-1600ft a.s.l.) where you will enjoy the e-bike experience.
Through a unique rural scenery, an intense e-bike tour at the sunset when the colors of nature turn magic, transforming the countryside around Fiesole and Florence into an unparalleled landscape.
We circumnavigate the hill of Montececeri, known for the extraction and processing of the famous Pietra Serena (grey sandstone), a material which has been largely used in several art works in Florence (for example the Brunelleschi Dome and the Loggia of Uffizi) ever since the Renaissance. Montececeri is also known for being the place of Leonardo Da Vinci’s first flight attempts.

An adventure that will start from Fiesole and its hills, from the Monastery of San Francesco which dominates Florence with a magnificent panoramic view of the city, and then immerse yourself entirely in the countryside, through places that only a native from the area can take you to. Not just a tour, but emotions, places and people. And if you are not satisfied, and you will explain why, we will refund you!

EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL AND WINE TASTING

All the bike tours include, without any additional cost, a brief stop at a traditional Tuscan olive oil and wine farm: Fattoria di Montereggi. You will taste and eat bread and excellent local extra virgin olive oil, as is tradition ever since I was a child, and a glass of red house wine (a "gottin di vino"), making the places you are visiting even more extraordinary and your bike tour a true local experience.

MEETING POINT
